For your ski holiday in Ratschings you can choose among three ski resorts in the area. Just 1.2 km away there is the ski area Ratschings-Jaufen. With the ski resorts Rosskopf in Sterzing and Ladurns in Pflerschtal situated within a range of 15 km and 25 km you will have two more skiing paradises in reach of the Hotel Bergblick. Here you will find a great variety of slopes and numerous hours of sunshine. While going downhill enjoy the beautiful South Tyrolean mountains view.
Located at up to 2,150 meters, the ski resort Ratschings-Jaufen promises untarnished skiing fun. From the base station via the modern lifts you comfortably reach the slopes. In the new 8-seater cable car you cross a magnificent winter panorama and quickly good winter sports mood comes on. Once at the top you will find 25 kilometers of slopes, which are divided into different categories. The spectrum ranges from low to moderate difficulty. Particularly commendable is the family-friendly in this region. Around the ski area numerous establishments give special offers for children so that families feel at home soon here. In addition to skiing, for example, you can enjoy a ride on the toboggan run.
Experienced skiers will find numerous red marked slopes in the ski resort Rosskopf Sterzing, so that here you can master new challenges. Overall, the ski area has 14 kilometers of slopes that invite you to go downhill. These are spread over 10 runs, of which 7 have a red marked. There is a practice area which is especially suitable for beginners at the mountain station of the cable car. Here the blue marked slope ends, which starts at the top station of the panoramic chairlift. Sporty drivers will appreciate the black marked slope training, which runs from the panoramic chairlift to the cable car in a curving and winding route. After exciting hours in the snow, you can then stop off for example in a cozy mountain restaurant. Below the floor lift there is the Enzian alpine hut which offers various South Tyrolean dishes.
In the ski area Ladurns, you will find perfectly groomed slopes, which have different levels of difficulty. They are suitable for families as well as for professionals and lead through a unique landscape. To get to the ski resort, go in direction Brenner and turn left shortly before Gossensass into Pflerschtal.
